Ensham Dive Club

Dive Trips
We organise a number of diving trips throughout the UK dive season which runs from March to November. These include one day training trips to inland quarries, weekends away on the South coast, week-long trips to Cornwall and Scotland and even holidays to more exotic locations such as The Red Sea.

All members are notified of forthcoming trips by email and reminders also appear in the monthly newsletter. In addition to ‘official’ club trips, individual members often organise their own expeditions which other club members are welcome to join.

Social Events
As well as diving trips, regular social events include a few pints after the Thursday pool sessions and a Christmas party in December. Our enthusiastic social secretary also plans lots of other non-diving events throughout the year ranging from bowling to barbeques.

How much you want to participate in the social side of the club is up to you, but we find that as well as being a lot of fun, socialising with each other helps to improve our diving skills.

Newsletter
Ensham has a monthly newsletter which gives information about forthcoming dive trips and social events as well as recent photos, diving tips and even fishy recipes! Members are welcome to contribute to the newsletter and may be approached to write up a dive trip.

Library
We have a small library of books ranging from technical manuals to Marine-life guides and dive-related fiction, which our members are welcome to borrow.
